About Me

My name is Mel Bonthuys, and I am a South African – British massage and lymph drainage therapist, based in Inverness, Scotland.

I did my initial massage training in my native South Africa, and furthered my skills once I was living in the United Kingdom.

I am absolutely passionate about Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), especially Post Operative care, and this is my main area of expertise.

I have completed numerous different courses and qualifications in both Classic, Pre and Post Op MLD, having recently completed advanced training in Post Operative Care.

My hope for the future is to qualify in Lymphedema and Lipedema MLD.

My other areas of love are Body Contouring and Sculpting and Deep Tissue Massage. The most rewarding part of all these is seeing the amazing difference my clients feel and see, often after just one session.  That visible improvement makes both my clients happy and me, as their therapist, incredibly happy too!

In addition to these core services, I also offer a few other treatments, which are all available for convenient online booking.

My aim as a therapist is to listen to your concerns and work with you to achieve the best possible outcome, whether you are seeking pain relief, improved circulation or just needing overall relaxation.
